{Nine}

Hello everyone ^-^ !

I found the Vintage Village on the Verdigris SIM a couple months ago and fell in love with it and find myself going back to explore it all over again. It gives off a vintage and steam punk vibe with a lot of little stores and the Dirty Rat mainstore.

I was surprised when I put this look together because it’s so different from what I’ve been wearing this past week or two (cuffed shorts, boots, tanks, high socks and tattoos) but as you can tell by this post and my last one, I love looks that are pretty yet not over the top ~ “simple” looks. I feel the most elegant when it seems almost effortless.

I almost didn’t blog it but Jess told me I should (so you can blame her ).

When it comes to wearing dresses during the summer, you can never go wrong with a simple, white lace, cotton dress (and let me tell you a secret, Jess made this and owns this store)! It’s casual with subtle hints of lace around the hem and a cute navy stripe with white polka dots to accentuate the waist line. This dress could easily be dressed up or down and I love versatile pieces like that.

I wanted to keep this look simple so I paired it with brown heels that might look familiar from my first post and another hair from DeLa that I am currently in love with. I’m also wearing mesh eyes from Mayfly that I purchased at One Voice [click here to read info about the fundraiser & click here to read Curio's News Release]. I thought these were gorgeous and I don’t think you can go wrong with Mayfly eyes to begin with, mesh or not.
One Voice ends on July 15th.

Hello everyone!

A new post is long over due but I’ve got two freebies ~ so please don’t hurt me!

The first freebie – deck shoes, have been in my inventory since August 2010 and unlike some freebies that have come and gone, these will probably stay in my inventory till the end of time. They go with everything and they’re especially perfect for the summer! They’re also unisex so how can you pass these up?!

The second freebie – Ellio Bikini (American Flag) …tomorrow is the 4th of July (tomorrow for me, but today for some of you)! What better excuse to flaunt what your momma gave you, than a patriotic holiday?!

And don’t mind me but… I’m having a bit of a love affair with that lace tank and those shorts. I’ve worn them every day since I purchased them! The tank comes with 2 colors (white and black) and 3 lengths of each (crop, full, and shirt). I have a feeling I’ll continue wearing them for the rest of the summer!

I actually really like this outfit. Even though nothing is mesh, it’s a really cute look to go out and around in. The boots are my favorite. They come in a package of 3 colours, Black, Brown, and Cappuccino! & Bonus is that you can wear them with mostly ANYTHING! Ontop of that, I really need to get to blogging more. BUT, I promise to!

It’s been awhile so I thought I’d share my outfit of the day.

Normally I wear flats or go barefoot …but when I saw these boots on marketplace, I really liked them! They have a color changing HUD (which I love in any clothing item since I’m indecisive when choosing a color for anything). These boots are unisex and I highly recommend them.

Also, I’ve fallen in love with coldLogic! I went through the store one day and grabbed every single demo ~nothing was safe~ and I had a hard time narrowing my options down (when I win the SLottery, I’m going to buy out the store~).
